According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, in March 2021, FINRA initiated an investigation into Clark Harris. The investigation concerns whether Harris received securities compensation for recommending, without the proper registration, alternative investments. As of the time of this writing, FINRA’s investigation into Harris is still ongoing.
In the following month, in April 2021, Harris was fired by Sigma Financial Corporation. Sigma stated that it had reason to believe that Clark Harris solicited, recommended, and sold illiquid alternative investments to one or more customers without possessing a qualifying FINRA license to do so, and that the representative took steps to conceal this activity from the firm.
According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Clark Harris was registered as a broker Sigma Financial Corporation in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan from 2000 to 2021. From November 2002 to April 2021, Harris was registered as an investment adviser with Sigma Planning Corporation.
Harris is currently a managing partner at Titan Wealth Advisors in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has worked for Titan Wealth Advisors, LLC from February 2015 to the date of this writing. According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Titan Wealth Advisors is a dba for Harris’s insurance and financial services work. He spends 150 hours per month on Titan Wealth Advisers.

Customer Complaints Against Clark Harris
Harris’s BrokerCheck Report contains 1 customer dispute. The disclosure alleges that between 2010 – 2015, Harris made unsuitable recommendations and encouraged his client to invest in a non-traded direct participation program (DPP) and a REIT. The claim further alleged that Harris did not have the required securities registration to make the recommendation and that the firm failed to adequately supervise the representative. The claim was settled for $35,000.
