Robert Turner was registered as a broker with UBS Financial Services from 1996-2021. After he left UBS Financial Services he was briefly registered with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company from 2021 to 2022.
Peiffer Wolf is investigating claims that Robert Turner recommended his clients invest in what he claimed were fixed annuities offered by a San Antonio company, Fairfax Financial Corporation. However, these were not actually fixed annuities, but securities. Robert Turner allegedly claimed that these “annuities” would invest in commercial real estate and oil and gas development, but in reality, there were no assets backing them. Therefore, investors who had believed that they would receive a guaranteed rate of return between 4% and 8% were left with total losses on their investments.
If you invested with Robert Turner and/or Fairfax Financial Corporation, you should Contact Peiffer Wolf immediately.
