According to FINRA’s BrokerCheck, Charles Evan is the subject of 14 Disclosures, including:

 

  • February 2021 – Customer Dispute; Settled. Amount: $31,500. Allegations include “misrepresentations and unsuitable recommendations on the sale of life insurance and variable annuity products” and misleading information about “advisory fee charges, in addition to commissions paid on the variable annuity products.”
  • April 2020 – Customer Dispute; Settled. Amount: $130,000. Allegations include “misrepresentations and unsuitable recommendations on the sale of life insurance and annuity products.”
  • March 2020 – Customer Dispute; Settled. Amount: $80,180.68. Allegations: “The customers alleged that the representative used unethical sales tactics, denied receiving commissions, omitted information, and forged their signatures and initials on forms to secure the sale of financial products beginning in 2013.”
  • February 2020 – Customer Dispute; Settled. Amount: $197,500. Allegations include “misrepresentations” and “bad investment advice.”
  • January 2020 – Regulatory; Final. Evans consented to a bar from the securities industry for refusing to provide documents and information to FINRA. FINRA investigated Evans after his firm reported his termination in connection with allegations concerning inappropriate traditional insurance sales practices.

 

Prior to MML Investors Services, Charles Evan was registered with New England Securities, Manequity, G. R. Phelps & Co., PML Securities Company, and Capital Analysts.
