Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) Investigation | What happened?

• 2018: Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) is acquired by Global Bankers, owned by Greg Lindberg.
• March 2020: Greg Lindberg is convicted of wire fraud and bribery, for which he is currently serving time in federal prison.
• September 2020: Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) begins liquidation proceedings, which is the equivalent of bankruptcy in Bermuda.
• April 2021: The Bermuda Supreme Court denied Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda)’s request for additional time to restructure. Northstar will be liquidated, and the proceeds will go to creditors.

With Northstar Financial Services in liquidation, it is unclear if investors will be able to redeem their investments with the company.
